Heart Songs at Scandinavian Living Center
             Creative Adventures is collaborating with Catching Joy, a charity that provides opportunities
             for young children to participate in community service and feel the joy of giving to others.

             This class is designed to introduce children to the American Songbook.
             Learn old favorite songs like "Bye Bye BlackBird" by Ray Henderson, "All of Me"
             by Simon - Marks, "S'Wonderful" by Gershwin and many more! Class is held at the
             Scandinavian Living Center and residents will be joining us during class.

             At the end of the session Marianne Ryan and pianist, Stanley Macht perform
            with residents and children to "Sing from the Heart".

             Class will also incorporate exercises from Music Mind Games to learn the concepts
             of music, including pitches, diverse rhythmic patterns, tempos and dynamics.    

             FRIDAYS

Session 1: January 15 - March 5 (no class on 2/5 or 2/19)

Session 2: March 12 - May 7 (no class on 3/19, 4/9 or 4/30)

Session 3: May 21 - July 16 (no class on 6/4 or 7/2)
